My dear sons John-Michael and
Sebastian,
I am sorry that I have not written much since leaving Germany.
My dear boys when you get to know what I have been up to and have achieved
over the last few months you will be very proud of your father and his academic,
business and management achievements. I have been very busy getting to grips
with my new economic venture as general manager of a local horticultural company.
I have had a lot to learn getting used to the company concerned, local
conditions, suppliers, the direction that I want to head the company in etc.
etc. In addition I have been very busy getting myself informed and up to
speed as much as is possible in all technical and scientific aspects of our
spheer of operation. That not being enough, not having enough on my plate
I have enrolled myself at University for post graduate studies. All in all
I seldom work less than from 0700 to 2400 Hrs, a very long, demanding and
tiring day.
Now that I am a little organized and settled I will free up a little more
time so that I can write to you more often.
I will show you what a Hickman is capable of, I will show you what your
father Michael Hickman is capable of. I am no fool, not by anyone's measure,
no matter what people in Wilhelmshaven tell you about me, the proof is there
for the whole world to see.
Furthermore I am busy building a technical and scientific resource centre
at http://www.michael-hickman.info
where I will present myself and my achievements to the world, a web site
where I will publish my technical and scientific expertise as well as links
to other sites.
Below are some pictures taken at one of the very many beaches near to where
I stay on the New Zealand Pacific coast as well as a huge eel that I caught
in the stream that flows through my own back garden directly behind the
wooden fence shown in the picture.
Please convince you mother to make peace with me, please convince her it
is in her and your best interest to do so, please convince your mother to
contact me, please convince your mother that she is making a fool of herself,
please convince her that her actions are only harming you and her not me,
please convince your mother to at least investigate the possibility of moving
to New Zealand to give you and her a future and a life worth living.
Your mother will never ever find someone who is prepared to be so fair with
her, someone who can forgive her under such circumstances, someone who after
all that has happened is still prepared to give her a chance and to give her
a life of luxury that most people can only dream of. I want nothing in return
from her other that to be a good father to you boys, there are no strings
attached whatsoever.
Your loving and caring father
A father you can be very proud of
The only father that you can and
will ever have.
