As you can see for yourselves
I get to do some interesting and exciting things here in New Zealand.
Here I am just above the clouds at the controls of a C130 Herculese four
engined transport plane with your cousin James on my lap. This is the
very same father that the German judge Martin Staubwasser and the politician
Dr. Uwe Biester declared mentally incompetant to conduct his own legal
affairs so as to deny both of you a very capable, loving and caring father.
What they have done to both of you is without a shadow of a doubt blatant
and deliberate child abuse, a crime for which they should both face a jail
sentence.

Here are two pictures taken of
me while brushing up on my shooting with ex-military service rifles
at the local shooting range today Saturday the 22 January 2005. On the
left I am taking aim with an ex British army issue Lee Enfield .303, on
the right I have just finished firing a Columbian manufactured Mauser,
factory rechambered in 1952 to .308 calibre. Having not practiced shooting
large calibre rifles for a number of years, I was surprised at how well
I am still able to shoot. Although my shooting is still good enough for
me to be deadly with both of these weapons, with a little more practice
I should be able to hold my own against any reasonable competition. When
you boys come over to be with me I will give you both instruction on these
two and other military and sporting weapons if you are interested. If you
are interested I will buy both of you suitable weapons of your own and
teach you to use them just as my own father did for me starting when I
was four years of age.

A New Zealand Kingfisher flew into the window today the 09:11.04,
it is one of the few native New Zealand birds that has survived in
reasonable numbers.

Last week your Dad was
in Singapore,
while I was there I made a point of visiting the world
renowned Singapore Botanic Gardens. Beneath are a few pictures that
I took while there.

Here is a picture of a waterfall in the ginger garden
which has over five hundren species of the ginger family including
edible ginger, bananas and ornamentals such as cannas.

Today the 4 October
2004 was a great day in history for Burt Rutan and the team
at Scaled Composites as they won a prize of 10 million Dollars for
being the first commercial operation to build a spacecraft then to fly
it into space and return twice within a period of one week.
What is particularily interesting for me is that a
friend of mine who passed away a few years ago knew Burt Rutan and
the pilot Mike Melville, who was born and grew up in Johannesburg,
South Africa well. As a result I have followed the remarkable achievements
of these remarkable aviation pioneers very closely over many years.
In fact Gordon and another friend of mine together
each build one of Burt's earliest creations, the remarkable
Varieze, which I had the opportunity to fly on a number of occasions.
