Vivian himself part German went to fight in the war
against German expansionism in Europe on the 9 October 1916, he returned
mid June 1918, badly injured from a despatch-riding accident in Bedfordshire,
England.
22 years later Vivian was again in uniform,
once again in a war against German aggression, this time together with all
three of his sons. This photo above was sent to Errol who was at the time
a prisoner of war in Italy. At the back is written with love from your loving
